The Woodland biome is one of the many different biomes located in Ancestors.
It houses many species of Animals. The Woodland biome is one of the more open biomes having a medium amount of trees and lots of grass and open areas. It displays features of the Savanna and Jungle biomes.

The Woodland biome is between the Great Lake biome and the Caves biome on one side and Savanna biome on the other side.

- African Buffalo
- Bateleur Eagle
- Black Machairodus
- Giant Warthog
- Hyena
- Megarian Banded Centipede - Centipedes are mainly found in caves but can come out of the caves and roam. Stay vigilant!
- Miocene African Horse
While it is more rare to find the Bateleur Eagle in the Woodland biome, is is possible they can be found here. They are normally found in high places and nests which aren't found as much in this biome. Stay vigilant when you are in these types of areas where you can walk around as an Eagle could be close by.
