Description[ | ]
Where to find[ | ]
The Thornbush is found in many biomes as a large prickly cluster of multiple bushes. While primarily found in the beginning biomes, it becomes more scarce as you go along.
How to obtain[ | ]
Thornbushes aren't available until your hominid can carry a Thornbush. Carrying Thornbushes requires learning the Carrying Ability (DE 02) neuron granting the ability to carry something in both hands to be able to transport Thornbushes.
Thornbushes can be grabbed from a large pricky bush (once you can carry them).
How to use[ | ]
- Four Thornbushes on a stockpile can be used to build a Thornbush Wall.
- The Thornbush stockpile requirement can be reduced by learning the Building (NE 01) and Building Efficiency (NE 02) neurons.
- Thornbushes can be used as doors in Thornbush Walls as Hominids can move through them. This means Thornbush Walls can be constructed for defensive purposes against enemies while allowing a way to get through them.
Tips[ | ]
Thornbushes can only be used for fortification. This should be taken into account when constructing defenses.Dead Branches can be used to construct Branch Barriers for defense but Dead Branches can also be used as weapons to strike and intimidate enemies. Dead Branches can also be modified intoSticks orSharpened Sticks for even more offensive power. It may be a better use of limited resources to construct Thornbush Walls for defense and save Dead Branches for the many other uses that they have.
