This has the oddest behavior[]

Man this thing is so odd. It only spawns in caves. But it wanders out and just treks across the woodlands. And then it's just "yo imma wander over here" and runs over to the savanna. Honestly I'm suprised it hasent wondered into the canyons yet. Not really a discussion but I wanted to say this. And also I did want to know if there's any guesses as to why this is the only animal that wanders around so much and going into other biomes instead of sticking I in it's biome. The game designers likely didn't think about where it would "go". They figured it could move around some but maybe not that much. They spawn snakes in lots of places (the other crawling threats), so they weren't worried about them wandering. But the centipede only shows up like you said in caves and it moves really fast. They likely didn't think about the fact that it could just start moving and keeps going pretty quickly to far away from the cave.
I would guess it's an unintended consequence of not spawning in other areas, very fast speed, and nothing to stop them from moving to another biome. If they can't spawn, there is nothing to make them "disappear" because another one doesn't spawn nearby. They just keep on moving. :) --GS877 (talk) 18:42, 5 December 2020 (UTC)
