A controller is strongly recommended to play this game. Both Xbox One and DualShock 4 (Playstation 4) controllers work and have corresponding in-game prompts.

According to developers, the game isn't enhanced for Xbox One X and PS4 Pro. The game might benefits from additional horsepower anyway on Xbox One X, and when using "Boost Mode" on PS4 Pro like every other games that aren't enhanced for these models^[2].
