==Where to find==
The [[File:MindIcon Powerstone.png|28px]] Ruby can be found lying on the ground waiting to be picked up.

The Ruby can sometimes be found under [[File:MindIcon LiftableRock.png|28px]] [[Liftable Rock]]s.

===Locations===
In the game, there are multiple [[locations]] where you can find the Ruby.
*There's two large rock spires found at the [[Canyon's Entrance Oasis]]. At the top of the left one is a flat section where a ruby can be found. Be careful as a [[File:Enemy Eagle.png|28px]][[Bateleur Eagle]] guards this area!
*The peak of the stone formation at [[Rock Arrow Oasis]]. Be cautious as a [[File:Enemy Eagle.png|28px]] [[Bateleur Eagle]] will come in for an attack once reaching the top.
*Near the [[Buffalo's Basin Oasis]] is a [[Stagnant Water Source|stagnant waterhole]]. Located on a boulder nearby that waterhole is a ruby.
*Just past the [[Two Trunks Lagoon Oasis]] in [[File:Region Savanna Icon.png|26px]] [[Savanna]], along the cliff wall there is a small cave that contains a ruby.
*In the Savannah near the [[Hipparions' Pond Oasis]], two large rocks form a tiny little canyon-like path that contains a ruby in the middle. Be careful as a [[Black-Backed Jackal]] can spawn here.

The Ruby can be used to [[File:Butcher ico 128.png|30px]][[butcher]] [[animals]].

The Ruby can be used as a blunt [[Weapons|weapon]]. While not as effective as a [[File:SenseIcon SharpStick.png|28px]][[Sharpened Stick]], they can still be useful. 

[[File:Give ico 84.png|22px]] [[Give|Giving]] a Ruby to an unrelated [[clan]] member will form a couple instantly without the manual [[groom]]ing and bonding process.

[[File:Give ico 84.png|22px]] [[Give|Giving]] a Ruby to a [[hominid]] that isn't part of the [[clan]] will [[Recruiting|befriend]] them and they will join your clan.

Holding a Ruby will confer [[File:Fear shield.png|border|30px]] [[Fear#Fear Protection|Fear Protection]]. Setting down the Ruby stops this [[Effects#Positive status effects|positive status effect]] but picking the Ruby back up will immediately start the protection again. However, this isn't an unlimited protection. Eventually the specific Ruby will run out of protection and a new one will have to be found to get the protection again.

Finding and [[inspect]]ing the Ruby will complete one of the [[Evolution Feat#Spiritual Inception|Spiritual Inception]] [[Evolution Feat]]s.
