An oasis is a safe* area for your clan to rest.
New Settlements
The default starting location for the First Time game mode is Hidden Waterfall Oasis. Every time a clan makes an evolutionary leap it will settle in a random oasis from one of the Biomes already discovered, but the oasis need not have already been discovered.
Locations
All oases contain Natal Grass Cycad, Fresh Water Source, Dead Branches and some type of food source.
