Drying Basin Oasis is an oasis landmark in the Savanna biome.
Overview[ | ]
A small oasis with a fresh water pond and a gorgeous view of the open Savanna. Multiple Coco Trees, a Marula tree, several berry bushes, and Aloe Vera plants around it. Granite Rock can be found directly in the oasis and the other two stone types are not too far away. This is one of the few Savanna oases where Khat can be found nearby.
A large number of Hippopotamuses live at the pond. They tend to stay on the western shore of the pond where the Marula tree can be found.
A large herd of Dorcas Gazelles live to the east of the pond and a couple Giant Warthogs can be found around this location as well. Without a settlement in the way, they take the direct route to the water. They will avoid your 
settlement but do come very close to the water source if you are not near the oasis.
Be aware that a few Black Mambas stalk the areas around the oasis. It may be possible to drive them to other predators to obtain Evolution Feats for having animals kill each other.
