Buffalo's Basin Oasis is an oasis landmark in the Savanna biome.

Overview

This oasis is not nearly as dangerous as might seem at first glance. As there is a water source here, it should attract all manner of dangerous animals but the only animals that will actually approach the water source are herbivores like the Miocene White Rhinoceros. This doesn't mean you are safe from these animals, just that they will not seek out combat with you. Take care when getting water that you don't initiate combat accidentally.

One of the major nuisances is the tall grass all around this oasis hindering the ability to see any distances and making finding items difficult. This oasis is also very exposed to the elements so the Cold that appears during the nighttime and the Heat of the daytime are factors you need to prepare for ahead of time.
