Non-Omnivore is a negative status effect is an affliction caused by Eat ico eating or Drink ico drinking foods that your body is unable to process properly.

Mechanics[ | ]

Non-omnivore will affect your vision and hearing depending upon the degree of non-omnivore. Non-omnivore isn't fatal, this affliction will decrease over time, and can be soothed through certain medicines.

Non-omnivore is similar in nature to Food Poisoning minor ico Food Poisoning major ico Food Poisoning but unlike food poisoning, you are eventually able to adapt your body.

Meat, eggs, and mushrooms will initially cause the non-omnivore negative status effect. Non-omnivore can only be overcome by learning Omnivore neurons. Until you are able to digest the food correctly, the food will act as a negative status effect. Once you can digest the food properly, it will no longer be an issue.

By learning omnivore neurons to adapt your body, these food groups will give positive effects besides reducing Hunger ico hunger.

  • Eggs - Improves your Dopamine capacity.
  • Mammal - Improves your overall vitality.
  • Mushrooms - Improve your resistance against injuries and poisonings.
  • Oviparous - Improves your Neuronal Energy capacity.

Important: Your clan members may suffer from non-omnivore without you noticing, so keep an eye out for visual signs of discomfort!

Stage 1[ | ]

Non-Omnivore minor ico

Stage 1 can result after consuming specific food groups one time. Stage 1 may appear after a single bite of a food group or consuming food after learning neurons that lessen the effects of non-omnivore on your hominid for that food group. Even with Stage 1, it is still easy and safe to travel.

Stage 2[ | ]

Stage 2 can appear after consuming specific food groups multiple times. Some food groups will give stage 2 right away but it's also attainable by eating more of the same food groups within a short time frame. Even with Stage 2, it is still relatively easy and safe to travel.

Non-Omnivore Protection and Neuron Growth[ | ]

There is no protection for non-omnivore like other effects. Non-omnivore can only be overcome by learning Omnivore neurons.

Omnivore neurons come in two versions. The first neuron reduces the severity of non-omnivore for a specific food group and the second neuron removes non-omnivore for a specific food group.

To mature an omnivore neuron, it is important to understand the following mechanics:

  • You only begin to adapt to food by getting non-omnivore from eating the food and then making non-omnivore go away. It is the act of curing or your body eliminating non-omnivore on its own that matures the neuron.
  • You can eat as much of a food as you want, and you can get severe non-omnivore, but it does nothing for you. You have to cure or wait out the negative status effect to count towards the neuron maturing.

An example would be eating some SenseIcon AfricanAgaricFungusAfrican Agaric Fungus. You haven't done anything yet to mature the first mushroom neuron Eumycota Food Acclimatization (OM 01). As you eat the mushrooms, you are afflicted with non-omnivore. The severity of your non-omnivore from the mushrooms depends upon how much you eat. You decide to eat a whole bunch of African Agaric Fungus and get severe non-omnivore. You walk over to a SenseIcon FreshWater Fresh Water Source and begin Scoop ico scooping the fresh water. As you drink the water, the non-omnivore begins to be removed because of the medicinal nature of the water. At a certain point, there will be an onscreen flash as the non-omnivore is eliminated. When the non-omnivore is removed through curing or waiting, that is when the action of eating the mushrooms counts towards maturing the neuron.

Remedies[ | ]

Medicines able to stop the non-omnivore condition:

Eating or drinking other foods after acquiring non-omnivore will also reduce and/or cure non-omnivore. The act of eating or drinking foods dilutes the food that caused the non-omnivore effect.
